CONSIDERATION OF ORDINANCES ON FIRST READING A. ORDINANCE 2015-02 CREATING ARTICLE III OF CHAPTER 58 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES REGARDING THE ART-IN-PUBLIC-PLACES AND EDUCATION PROGRAM This Ordinance implements an Art-In-Public Places and Education Program within the City of Lauderdale Lakes.
CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTIONS ON CONSENT AGENDA A. RESOLUTION 2015-22 APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BEAUTIFICATION ADVISORY BOARD This Resolution serves to appoint designated individuals to the Beautification Advisory Board. The term of the appointed members will run concurrent with the appointing Mayor or Commissioner B. RESOLUTION 2015-23 APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY BOARD This Resolution serves to appoint designated individuals to the Economic Development Advisory Board. The term of the six (6) appointed members will run concurrent with the appointing Mayor or Commissioner. Two (2) additional members are appointed by the entire Commission. C. RESOLUTION 2015-24 APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOARD This Resolution appoints designated individuals to the Historic Preservation Board. The term of the appointed members will run concurrent with the appointing Mayor or Commissioner. D. RESOLUTION 2015-25 APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD This Resolution appoints designated individuals to the Parks and Recreation Board. The term of the appointed members will run concurrent with the appointing Mayor or Commissioner. E. RESOLUTION 2015-26 RESCHEDULING THE REGULAR CITY COMMISSION WORKSHOP AND REGULAR CITY COMMISSION MEETING, PRESENTLY SCHEDULED FOR MARCH 9, 2015, AND MARCH 10, 2015 This Resolution reschedules the regular City Commission Workshop and Regular City Commission Meeting, presently scheduled for March 9, 2015 and March 10, 2015, respectively to March 2, 2015 and March 3, 2015, respectively.
RESOLUTION 2015-13 SETTING FORTH THE CITY'S 2015 STATE LEGISLATIVE AND APPROPRIATIONS PRIORITIES This Resolutions approves the 2015 State Legislative Agenda for the City of Lauderdale Lakes. Upon review and adoption, the City of Lauderdale Lakes State Legislative and Appropriation priorities will be forwarded to the City's State Lobbyists, Legislative Delegation and other governmental entities for consideration.
RESOLULTION 2015-14 SETTING FORTH THE CITY'S 2015 FEDERAL LEGISLATIVE AND APPROPRIATIONS PRIORITIES This Resolution approves the 2015 Federal Legislative Agenda for the City of Lauderdale Lakes. Upon review and adoption, the City of Lauderdale Lakes Federal Legislative and Appropriation priorities will be forwarded to the City's Federal Lobbyist, Legislative Delegation and other governmental entities for consideration.
RESOLUTION 2015-27 AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST, RESPECTIVELY, THAT CERTAIN DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LAUDERDALE LAKES AND RACETRAC PETROLEUM, INC. This Resolution approves a new plat known as “RaceTrac Petroleum at Lauderdale Lakes.” This plat includes a total replat of Val-Verdi Acres plat and a replat of a portion of Parcel A of Somerset Plaza plat.
RESOLUTION 2015-28 PURSUANT TO SECTION 2-5 OF THE CITY’S CODE OF ORDINANCES, PROVIDING FOR LIMITED APPROVAL TO USE THE NAME OF THE CITY IN CONNECTION WITH THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY RELAY FOR LIFE This Resolution provides for the use of the City's name in connection with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life to be held on May 15 and 16, 2015.
RESOLUTION 2015-29 APPOINTING AN ALTERNATE DELEGATE This resolution appoints an alternate delegate to the Metropolitan Planning Organization.
