ORDINANCE 2015-10 AMENDING SUB-SECTION 6-11(8)(A) OF SECTION 6-11 OF CHAPTER 6, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR A LIMIT ON EXEMPTION PERMITS This Ordinances would amend Section 6-11(8)(a) of the Code of Ordinances to reduce the maximum number of alcoholic beverages exemption permits issued within the City.
RESOLUTION 2015-83 APPROVING A REVISION IN THE PARKS AND HUMAN SERVICES FEE SCHEDULE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2015 This Resolution approves a revision in the Parks and Human Services Facility Fee Schedule.
RESOLUTION 2015-84 RATIFYING THE CITY MANAGER’S FILING OF THE CITY’S FISCAL YEAR 2015, PERIOD 9 (JUNE), FINANCIAL ACTIVITY REPORT This Resolution serves to ratify the filing and presentation of City Fiscal Year 2015 June (Period 9) - Financial Activity Report provided by the Financial Services Department.
RESOLUTION 2015-85 RATIFYING THE CITY MANAGER’S FILING OF THE CITY’S 2015 BUDGET ADVISORY COMMITTEE REPORT, AS PREPARED BY THE 2015 BUDGET ADVISORY COMMITTEE This Resolution authorizes the filing of the FY 2015 Budget Advisory Committee report as prepared by the 2015 Budget Advisory Committee.
RESOLUTION 2015-86 ADOPTING A PRELIMINARY RATE FOR SOLID WASTE SERVICES FOR FY 2015/2016 This Resolution establishes the FY 2016 Solid Waste collection fees. Solid waste collection rates are established in the franchise agreement between City of Lauderdale Lakes and the City's waste hauler, Waste Management.
RESOLUTION 2015-87 PROVIDING FOR A PRELIMINARY RATE RESOLUTION FOR THE IMPOSITION OF A FIRE RESCUE SERVICES ASSESSMENT FOR FY 2015/2016 This Resolution provides for a preliminary rate resolution for the imposition of fire rescue services assessment for FY 2015/2016. The proposed Fire Assessment rate for fire services is $292.60 (Single family) and $365.77 (Multifamily) with proportional decreases to all non-residential fees to generate net $5.6 million in revenues.
RESOLUTION 2015-88 ADOPTING A PRELIMINARY RATE FOR STORM WATER SERVICES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2015/2016 This Resolution establishes the preliminary rates for storm water charges to be collected through the Broward County Property Appraiser’s Office (BCPA) only. The Storm Water rate is maintained at $8 a month per equivalent residential unit (ERU) or $96.00 per year. This rate will generate $433,632 in revenues for this collection method for Fiscal Year 2016 for total estimated collection of $1,491,770.
RESOLUTION 2015-89 ESTABLISHING THE TOTAL SUM OF THE ANNUAL NUISANCE ABATEMENT ASSESSMENT This Resolution authorizes the adoption of the assessment roll for nuisance abatement for the time period of June 1, 2014, through June 30, 2015 of outstanding nuisance abatement liens established since January 1, 2009 which shall be placed on the property tax notice as non advalorem special assessments per Resolution 2013-113 and Ordinance 2013-19.
RESOLUTION 2015-90 ADOPTING A PROPOSED MILLAGE RATE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2016 ESTABLISHING OF A ROLLED-BACK RATE AND SETTING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED MILLAGE RATE AND TENTATIVE BUDGET This Resolution meets the requirements of Section 200.065 of the Florida Statutes by establishing and advising the Broward County Property Appraiser (BCPA) of the Fiscal Year 2016 proposed millage, proposed voted debt millage, rolled-back rate, and the date, time, and place of the first public hearing to preliminarily adopt the Fiscal Year 2016 millage rates. The preliminary millage, once established, will be the rate advertised on the preliminary tax statements sent to property owners in August.
RESOLUTION 2015-91 AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST, RESPECTIVELY, THAT CERTAIN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT REGARDING DISTRIBUTION OF SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT ASSETS This Resolution authorizes execution of an Interlocal Agreement regarding distribution of solid waste disposal district assets and acceptance of funds resulting from a Settlement Agreement pertaining to the appropriate distribution.
RESOLUTION 2015-92 AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST, RESPECTIVELY, THAT CERTAIN THIRD AMENDMENT TO INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR CREATION OF THE BROWARD METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION This Resolution approves the Third Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement that will expand the number of voting members on the Metropolitan Planning Organization Board.
