PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City of Lauderdale Lakes will hold the Joint Emergency Meeting on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. in the Commission Chambers, located at City Hall, 4300 Northwest 36 Street, Lauderdale Lakes, Florida 33319. The purpose of this Joint Emergency Meeting of the City Commission and Community Redevelopment Agency is to discuss and consider actions on the following matters which were the subject of three motions adopted by the City Commission at the January 27, 2015, Commission Meeting. The apparent effects of such motions are characterized as follows:
1) Effective immediately, change the reporting structure of the Executive Director of the CRA to report to the CRA Chair and the CRA Board. 1) Effective immediately, divorce the Financial Services Department from the CRA, to include separating the Accounting and Finances of the CRA from the City. 2) Effective immediately, modify the composition of the CRA governing structure, including but not limited to the following: the Mayor would have no vote at the CRA Board meeting and/or to add one additional member to the CRA Board
